2025 Blizzard Anomaly 84 R Skis W/ TCP 10 Bindings

The Anomaly 84 R is a frontside-leaning all-mountain ski designed for skiers who prioritize groomed performance with the ability to explore variable conditions. It blends a precise, directional feel with enough versatility to handle changing snow across the trail. Positioned as an accessible entry into Blizzard’s Anomaly lineup, it delivers a smooth, stable ride that feels composed without being overly demanding.

Why we like it:

We like how the Anomaly 84 R brings a calm, predictable feel to the frontside category. It offers solid edge hold and stability while remaining approachable and easy to control, making it a great option for skiers who want confidence without a heavy or overly aggressive ride.

Who it's for:

This ski is designed for intermediate skiers who spend most of their time on groomed trails but want the ability to venture into mixed conditions. It suits those who value stability and control while continuing to build confidence at higher speeds.

Highlights:

The beech and poplar wood core creates a balanced flex that feels smooth and consistent from tip to tail, which helps the ski track predictably through the turn. A full sidewall construction improves edge grip and power transfer, allowing the ski to feel secure on firmer snow. Tip and tail rocker work with camber underfoot to ease turn initiation while maintaining strong edge contact once engaged. With its 84 millimeter waist and moderate sidecut, the ski transitions quickly between edges and favors clean, controlled carving on groomed terrain.

Things to consider:

The Anomaly 84 R is focused on frontside performance at moderate speeds, so it can feel limited at speed or in more technical terrain. Skiers looking for a more energetic or aggressive ride may prefer a model with added metal reinforcement.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The ski feels true to length with a balanced, confidence-inspiring flex. Skiers who prefer quicker turns and easier handling may want to size slightly shorter, while those seeking more stability at speed can size up.
