The Simplicity S65 stick vacuum is easy to carry through the house at less than six pounds. Since this lightweight vacuum is bagless, it’s easy to dump the dust from the cartridge. This Simplicity vacuum cleaner has a slow start feature that makes it start out on low speed, but it can also be set to high speed to pick up bigger messes. The low speed setting is great for bare floors and rugs, whereas the high speed setting is built to speed-clean rugs and carpet.

This vacuum has a quick change battery that allows you to detach the battery with no tools. It also features a pleated HEPA media filter to ensure that the air quality in your home is still clean and healthy. If you or someone in your home suffers from allergies, it’s recommended that the HEPA filter be changed every 6 months. Otherwise, filters should be changed annually.

This is a good choice for those with smaller homes, especially small homes with bare floors. The multi-use feature allows you to easily swap between using it as a stick vacuum and as a handheld vac. The crevice/dusting combo tool is handy at capturing dust along edges, in corners or dusting between seat cushions.

To charge the battery, set the vacuum onto the storage/charging station, ensuring connection between the points on the vacuum and those of the storage/cleaning station. Plug the charger into the station and into an electrical outlet. The indicator light on the battery will be red while it charges, and when the light is blue, the battery will be fully charged. It takes about 4-5 hours for the battery to charge. Once it’s charged, remove the battery charger from the vacuum and begin vacuuming.

To empty the dust cup, press the wand release button and remove the wand. Hold the dust cup over a trash can and push the dust cup release button. The base will drop down and the debris will fall into the trash can. Shake the dust cup to release debris and then firmly place the base onto the dust cup until it clicks and is fully latched.
